Pros

Dog friendly, nothing else really I can think of. Some of the people are what make the day go by, some, definitely not all!

Cons

Too much work, too stressful, every two months you wonder if you will be next to get cut, worse culture

Pros

NEXTracker's leadership is filled with solar vets and they've worked together well in the past, which means experience, vision, and accountability is woven into the company's DNA. There's something special about working there that lets employees feel empowered to believe that anything is possible, and as a former employee, I've seen it happen numerous times in areas like product design, strategy, sales, and project execution. In the fast moving solar industry, that means NEXTracker is writing the rules of what's possible and forcing everyone else to catch up. Decisions are made effectively and efficiently, and bureaucracy is held to a minimum because people trust each other. All are treated with respect, dignity, and equality, whether it's the CEO, the HR analyst, or the janitor. The customer is held in the highest regard and the company aims to impress them with thoughtful, feedback-driven design, which constantly seeks to remove unnecessary costs and pass them onto the customer. This is what makes customers loyal to the company, and a comfortable business model.

Cons

Difficult to get to Fremont HQ via public transportation, but telecommuting within reason is welcome
