All the negative reviews need to be taken with a grain of salt

Pros

While any job has its good and bad points, it is a coward that writes a negative review and wont stand up and be part of the solution. It is easy to blast your current or former company but it takes a strong person who wants to be part of the change. No company is perfect. But anyone reading the negative reviews please take with a grain of salt. Yes, this company does have its issues but the executive leaders of the firm are committed to fixing the problems. They aren't sitting around ignoring the problems. They are creating solutions. They care about their employees and are 100% focused on customer service. This is a good place to work.

Cons

Sometimes it takes longer to make decisions and implement but they are cautious on their approach.

Thank you for your honesty and constructive feedback. As you know, we've made some pretty significant changes in the last 90 days that I'm confident will resonate with our employees. We've made some tough decisions, re-focused the company, and are committed to our focus on customer satisfaction . We are committed to making NexusTek a great place to work! Believe it or not, I don't feel that this is a "stupid website." It's valid feedback, good or bad, and I'm personally reviewing each and every review.

No One Stays Long

Pros

Working here is an opportunity to step into a good job at another company. As an engineer you are billed out to clients. It will not take long before clients start approaching you as a talented engineer to hire you directly. Nexustek will attempt to tell them it is not allowed, but in fact it is illegal in most states they operate in to do this. Non Competes and No Hires are illegal in most states with heavy tech industries. What this means is engineers are constantly being hired by clients. Many become IT directors and sometimes even take over managing the relationship with the MSP. Many many engineers have been hired by clients. As a result no one stays long.

Cons

The reason no one stays long is due to the level of un organization and chaos that is Nexustek. Both engineers and clients have no problem keeping Nexustek around until they cause more chaos then it is worth. This does not take long when the client gets over billed or incorrectly billed. Incorrect product gets delivered or never get ordered. Systems go ignored until they blow up. A group of engineers once said they spend more time protecting Nexustek from Nexustek and cleaning up problems then taking care of clients. At first you say no thanks to the offers but eventually the mistakes get repetitive and you have to protect your own professional reputation from the constant mistakes. Soon you become another on a very long list of people that get hired directly by the client.

Thank you for your feedback, and I'm sorry you've formed a negative opinion of NexusTek. While I understand your perspective, we are in the process of transforming the business and I hope you'll try to remain open-minded and optimistic about change. As in most businesses, things don't go sideways overnight, and they don't improve overnight. Patience is the key. I've spent a good percentage of my first 90 days meeting 1-1 with front line employees to do just that - to find out what is happening. I'll be in Phoenix the week of January 10th if you'd like to meet personally if we haven't met already. We are committed to making NexusTek a great place to work, and improving the business as several other employees have already acknowledged is happening.

Pros

Fast paced, growing company. Moving in the right direction. Cutting edge technology. Cares about their clients and their employees. Good compensation, salary, expenses, 401k, etc. Excellent place to work now that some of the bad eggs have left!

Cons

Work life balance can get out of control if you let it. There is always work to be done. Don't expect management to tell you NOT to work extra hours, but it's also not required so you have to find and maintain your own work life balance.
