Pros

Flexible work schedule 60-70% working from home and 30-40% from office or field.

Cons

High turnover rates from engineering department, which increases the work loads and stress to the job, and ultimately not making your salary really worth it. Lots of changes to process which causes confusion across the whole board.

Pros

Flexible work schedule. Can be work from home or 50/50 home and office. Good 401K match and start with a lot of vacation. All employees are very friendly and respectful.

Cons

Very long process to get promoted. You basically have to prove to the company you deserve the next position title in your discipline in a thesis/dissertation style document. Roughly 10,000+ words. I believe this is what leads to the high turnover rate of engineers across NiSource.
