Good work - life balance. Good compensation.

Cons

Restructuring pains. Combining facilities for the barrel and screw business has caused issues. Lack of project management, planning and organization during the transition.

Stable, growing company with many job opportunities.

Cons

Will hire from within but only if you have a degree. Not much opportunity for individuals who put in their time on the manufacturing floor and learn their skill from the bottom up. The company was aquired almost five years ago and corporate is still trying to figure out how it fits into the overall family of companies. Very little planning on how to manage a custom product company compared to their existing "widget" factories.

Working with customers at different sites, To see customers happiness when their system back to action Daily learning new things while working on different systems showing the customers' how to troubleshoot and make them comfortable with their system operation.

Cons

Extended period of away from home even though I enjoy traveling and the time difference to working with the main office for some help for parts or troubleshoot.
