Stable, growing company with many job opportunities.

Cons

Will hire from within but only if you have a degree. Not much opportunity for individuals who put in their time on the manufacturing floor and learn their skill from the bottom up. The company was aquired almost five years ago and corporate is still trying to figure out how it fits into the overall family of companies. Very little planning on how to manage a custom product company compared to their existing "widget" factories.

Team work very closely together. If you have idea to develop process, manager will always give you a chance to share what you have with team.

Cons

Nothing really. If you do your best they will value you and give you more opportunities.

The location is ideal with easy links to the city and the coast. The work environment is relaxed and colleagues are very easy to get on with.

Cons

There is very little opportunity to progress career wise. There are too many layers of management and 'dead wood' leaving the skilled capable workers stretched too thinly across the product range
