Pros

Great for college kids that are home during sale time. Can be flexible with scheduling and can be a lot of fun. Great customers!

Cons

Declining management abilities. High turnover rate. No training, educating.

Pros

Co-workers are nice and friendly.

Cons

They really don't care about employees. They will fire you if you don't meet sales expectations even if your department doesn't meet its goals.

Pros

I think that Nordstrom is a great place to work. I've always had a good relationship with them. Basically, the harder you work the more you earn... it's a simple concept. Although, I have heard that things have changed since I've last worked there.

Cons

The downside to working commission is just like any other place I'm sure. Competition with coworkers can be tough if you're not ready for it, especially if your co workers are sharks!
