Pros

Lots of opportunities for advancement and relocation. Interesting job functions. Attractive and comfortable environment. A lack of formal education does not hold you back; at least at the store level. You can directly affect your earnings with selling more and bonuses resulting from successful business. You are given a lot of freedom to run your business and no micro managing. Great experience that will develop your skill set as a manager. Employee discount; managers receive 33% off.

Cons

Retail schedule is not ideal. You will work almost every Saturday, at least one Sunday per month, and one closing shift per week. You have to spend money on work clothes that you will not wear anywhere else; depending on your department. Money is only alright until you surpass the Department Manager level.

Pros

Awesome discount, pay was good. They promote from within and take a lot of pride in customer service.

Cons

Extremely long hours, your feet will hurt.!! Most of my co workers were really nice BUT remember its a competition and you will have greedy coworkers who will steal sales from you so watch out for them, you have to stay by your customers to ensure they won't be stolen from you. Management shows favoritism to certain employees (usually the sharks that steal sales are the ones loved by management) Unrealistic sales goals and over staffing will also really hurt your paycheck. Returns affect sales, the more you sell the more returns you have. My managers had this theory that if you were a good seller you shouldn't have returns but that's not true so don't let that get you down.
