Pros

Wages are comparable to others of this nature.

Cons

The benefts are terrible. When I started working for nordstrom 11 years ago, I was more than pleased. Since the company first started experiencing fincial problems and then the encomy being in trouble the benefits get worse year after year! Theres no room for advancement with a company that is constantly cutting back!

Pros

- Pretty flexible schedules, especially for part time workers - Very nice working conditions - Great employee discount - Can move around to various departments and learn different roles

Cons

- Although flexible, hours around holidays become overwhelming - The need to deal with difficult customers who return things never purchased in the store (due to policy of taking anything back)
