      It has a lot of opportunities to find a job in Boston area and Northeastern University is #1 in Co-op program which is also a good thing for a job.

      nice location, nice campus, clever advertising to attract students with money

      Cons

      incompetent leadership, culture of greed, it's commonplace for people in leadership positions to bring in their friends for jobs (often these friends are not qualified), sexism in the advancement department, some questionable fundraising tactics, board of directors not really engaged in oversight, mediocre academics, a lot of in-fighting in various academic departments
