Pros

Not many pros that I can think of.

Cons

Poor management, toxic work environment, all the people in my department hated their jobs.

Pros

Lots of resources and people at the top get paid well but… don’t expect it to trickle down

Cons

BIPOC and other folx who hold marginalized identities - think twice before working here. They talk a good game about DEI but there is no institutional commitment. Expect to work for a white manager who cares only about their own advancement and will microaggress you all day every day. Speak out against the university and your job will suddenly become eliminated as a business decision.

Pros

some nice co-workers enjoy working with students

Cons

- requires people to be hybrid but charges the same for parking as we did when we 100% on campus - cut (my) sick time by more than 50% (nice during a pandemic, huh) _ People don't make what they would in private industry and now they take away the benefits that made it worth it - salary compression
