Pros

Really loved my colleagues and I had great relationships with the students

Cons

Pay is terrible in comparison to other Boston universities, especially the ones that NU compares itself to in admissions materials. Very little empathy on the senior administration level for folks experiencing difficulties around burn out, the pandemic, child care, public transportation issues, etc. Extremely questionable work on DEIJ, it all seems very performative. People who don't have the skills necessary for director-level work get promoted all the time, and there's very little upward mobility. Staff are treated as expendable.
