Understaffed!

Pros

Good benefits (medical, dental 401(k) and paid time off including holidays.

Cons

While there are good benefits and generous PTO, it's impossible to enjoy time off when offices are so understaffed. Projects are added to staff without any consideration for current workload. Salary increases are minimal and kept to merit increases annually.

Pros

Good list of benefits if you’re a full time employee with a family. Great 401k but you have to work there for a few years before you can get the benefit, so it’s almost not worth it.

Cons

The closer you work to the president, the more toxic the culture is. Senior leadership doesn’t treat anyone below them like people, instead refer to them as “resources.” Most people are so caught up in proving themselves to the president and making him happy that they derail projects, forget any moral code, and will fire anyone that raises any honest and valid concern. They say they want to compete with the top tech companies talent-wise but they won’t pay accordingly. Senior leadership is making $500k but they won’t pay developers and designers what they’re worth in the market and actually take away projects so they can justify a lower salary. I have seen people do and say things here that make my stomach churn. Every project is treated like an emergency and no one knows how to properly manage deadlines, so the people who actually have to do the work are forced under such immense pressure and are beyond stressed most of the time. Turnover is HIGH - most people in this department have been here less than a year and most will not stay longer than that. It’s really a shame because this has the potential to be an incredible place to work and a place where you can meaningfully contribute to the world, but people’s egos have destroyed any hope of that.
