Cons

Poor upper management. Salary increases are week. Annual review process is a joke. Tuition remission for online courses is not permitted, Revolving door at times.

Professors that often times could have been across the puddle at MIT but got better start up lab money from Northeastern do fantastic research.

Cons

There is a lot of run-around with paperwork i.e faculty that know there is a process but each one thinks it should be done a different way with different people.

Cons

Very underpaid relative to my peers in my field (software engineering) Benefits package very underwhelming No time off in the first year, must accrue over time No retirement matching until after a full year Very small project team with intermittent drive-by supervision
