Pros

The patients welcome your help.

Cons

Nursing is low man, not much consideration goes into the nurses. Administration making decisions do not have a clue about what nursing does. The CEO is so elite and important that none of the staff have met him in person.

Pros

You get to see and be part of people changing their lives for the better Most staff is friendly and helpful Pay is better than the average

Cons

Management doesn't follow through on their promises, if they don't like you they do what they can to make you leave or they look for dumb reasons to let people go while keeping others who clearly don't fit the job. Management tries to micromanage things when they don't work the floor frequently enough to know how staff handle things- they sit in their office watching the cameras instead, they say they promote internal growth but they rarely follow through on that and the care more for money than patient care and staffing/ burnout
