Pros

When NG loses a contract they work hard to find other jobs for displaced workers (layoffs are very rare).

Cons

Not so great at offering formal job-related training and education opportunities.

Pros

- Reasonably good salary. - Good work/life balance after you've gained some seniority. - Stable company, though your particular contract may not be - typical for defense work.

Cons

- Advancement is on you - you must develop your own career. In my libertarian view, that is OK. - Upper management doesn't communicate personally with the workers - sort of a class system.

Pros

It is similar to other aerospace companies. You have job security if you are in top 30% of their work force.

Cons

They do not have a culture. They need to take care their employees a little better. It is like working in any big company.
