Pros

I work remote and I benefit from the company for deals on rentals and activities.

Cons

Cerner is the oldest system. Really slow and too many windows. Fax is the majority way we get orders and it is not reliable. Work flow feels like it changes consistently. My PTO, is bundled with sick days and vacation and holiday. I am scared to take a mental health day or go to a md appt because what if I need it for the upcoming holiday to be paid.

Pros

Northside is a really great organization and I have enjoyed working here for the last 10 years. I find the team of people to be professional, caring, and very supportive. It's an organization that cares about its patients, staff and community. There is great opportunity for advancement, learning and trying new things. My team has a lot of longevity and recently celebrated someone who was employeed at Northside for over 40 years.

Cons

We are a large organization and continuously growing. To me that is a wonderful thing, but it also comes with growing pains at times and the need to be flexible, patient, reflective and adaptive.
