Pros
Great colleagues, excellent experience, support for continued education, benefits aren't bad.
Cons
The NICU management needs a major overhaul. A handful of the managers are excellent, but the rest are awful. Punitive, nit-picky, and non-supportive. There are very few opportunities for advancement and the folks with positions in leadership got those positions because of who they knew, not because of their own skill or leadership capability. They pay lip service to shared governance, and there is so much fighting and resentment between members of management that it's virtually impossible to make any changes for the better. Big Brother is Watching.
