      Northside is a great place for nurses! I always feel supported by leadership, and they have given me the tools needed to succeed!

      Pros

      Discount in the cafeteria. Retirement pension.

      Cons

      Management is terrible, only interested in the people who follow blindly. Knowledge and experience not rewarded. Not willing to give the resources to do the job properly. Extreme micromanaging and very cliquish. Benefits mediocre and You have to use your PTO for holidays even if you work a normal work week and your department is closed. Degrees over experience. Does not acknowledge or reward going the extra mile.

      Great overtime, you'll need it.

      Cons

      The business office has poor leadership. They lead with intimidating and they do not support their managers/supervisors. Though they say that they believe in chain of command, it only stands for certain people. You could be written up for anything especially if theyou don't like you.
