SCAMMERS RUN AWAY

Pros

Pros Nothing, they’ll sugar coat things, bring food or do some nice events like if it was “the office (US)” but it’s all a scam

Cons

It is a life insurance company cult, not financial advisors, they will make you believe it is and brainwash you but it isn’t, micromanaged all the time, don’t properly explain how you get paid, their whole pay system is a scam, big clients you don’t get paid until a while, it works like a pyramid scheme where you barely make any money since they are training you to give it to someone else. They’ll give you a forecast of your estimated income which no one ever makes and then brainwash you into thinking you’re not doing good enough and that you have potential to be better, until you hire other financial representatives and have them do the work for you, then you move in as director, then the cycle continues. It’s all a joke. Their whole little scam for the employees is hiring someone, getting 250 leads from them, have them work them while they barely make any money then hope they quit. They are hiring 24/7 and will lie to you and tell you they are choosing between 3 people when they are literally hiring all of them. They grab their warm markets and whatever happens, happens. They don’t care if you quit or not as long as you give them your warm market, friends and family. No legit business is going to have you harass your friends and family. Also they just care about selling life policies, their whole numbers are around life policies not investment accounts. If you read this and pay attention to everything they say or do you’ll realize it’s all baloonie. From scamming customers to scamming their employees.

Pros

Flexibility, your own hours, some sales training

Cons

-They just make you push whole life insurance and disability insurance the whole time. -The sales training you get is how to call people and read off of the scripts they give you so you can do "joint-work" with a veteran rep and split commission. -Very minimal done in terms of "financial advising". -They take advantage of you and will make money off of you regardless if you stay or go and they couldn't care less. -They will charge you for everything possible if you leave(they intentionally don't fire you so they can charge you when you quit) -If any policy you had and gave to them when you left cancels/reverses then you have to pay them back your commission even after quitting (anything from a year back). I quit a few months ago and still owe thousands of dollars to them because of this. -Advisors are very fake and disingenuous as are the Managing Directors and partners. Very high turnover rate and low satisfaction. I was hired with a group of 20, only 3 or 4 still work there after 6 months. -If you don't have conviction in selling whole life insurance then don't do this job.

Toxic Work Environment

Pros

Pay, Benefits, there is no other pros to working here

Cons

All levels of leadership are corrupt and not interested in their employees - this is a toxic workplace, where bullies thrive. Male leaders operate as "good ol' boys club", and women leaders are vicious, self-promoters who will eat you alive for no reason. Most of the home office time is spent having meetings about how great they are or meetings about meetings about meetings. This company is a waste of any professionals time.
