      Pros

      I would have to say that it is a very supportive atmosphere, and that you are able to rise above the level of your abilities if you so choose. I would also say that they have an outstanding benefits package. As well as the company's annual event. They have always seemed to do a great job, at least the situations that I am aware of, of providing a great work/life balance.

      Cons

      The two major downsides for me, and this may just be the particular department that I am in, but much like it's name implies, it's quiet. Secondly, the parking is not ideal, but I knew that going so it was not a huge surprise for me.

      Pros

      The vision and passion that everyone has in them, added with the great respect management has for all who work within the team. It is a team environment, but with the autonomy of becoming whatever level of greatness you would like to be. There is no ceiling, but there is an incredible foundation! Seeing the impact that each of the representatives has with their clients, knowing that each was trained with vision that it is about the quality of the relationships with our clients, not the quantity. Opportunity is a word I hear a lot with the reps, and each has thier own definition of what it means to them, and Northwestern Mutual has provided them with the path to seize it.

      You must have your own drive - that is something that can not be taught. It is effort+perisistency+passion = rewards
