Pros

Free lunches, great workout facility, nice view of the lake

Cons

All the layoffs and the insecurity related to it have caused the work environment to become toxic. As a long-term employee I now feel very insecure because the focus is exclusively on millennials--there is no regard for experience and knowledge. Benefits have been cut dramatically and continue to be cut. High level management receive excessive rewards despite negative outcomes. Company is going in the wrong direction and is being mismanaged. Both sexism and ageism are rampant and HR turns a blind eye. Losing valuable resources and experience as a result.

Pros

Not a whole lot of pros

Cons

Absolutely immoral business model. As an intern they make you write down 200 people who you can warm-call. If you end up not continuing with the internship as more than HALF of people do, they simply take your list and use it themselves to cold call. The job is just calling your friends and family and asking them to buy overpriced life insurance from you. The companies entire design is to bring in as many college interns as possible and then have them actively try to take money from people close to them, so the people higher up make money. DO NOT EVEN TALK TO THESE PEOPLE AT CAREER FAIRS. They rope interns in by saying you can be financially independent and make tons of money, without ever telling you what you’ll be doing. Because if they did tell you what you would be doing, they wouldn’t be able to steal from interns anymore and their entire business practice would collapse. This entire business reeks of immorality.
