Great teamwork but limited pay and advancement opportunities

Pros

This very much depends on your unit, but mine has been wonderful. Great teamwork and management.

Cons

Overall pay could be better, the bonus was much lower than previous years, and there isn’t many opportunities to work your way up

Great for the big guys, okay/eh for the little guys

Pros

Good pay, benefits, time off, and they strive hard to make employees feel heard. Not afraid of change or doing something different. Definitely a lot of effort in turning feedback into action.

Cons

Corporate smothers the smaller offices. Way too big and everything is way too detailed to where nothing is easy to find or understand (policies change almost weekly). IT is outsourced and not helpful. Everything is cheap. Employees feel like pampered cattle. "Float" is only for bigger offices and isn't guaranteed. They will short staff you in a heart beat and tell you your burn out is "growing pains". Raises and bonuses are pathetic. Better compared to PHC, but when the CEO earns 6+ million every year and all we are given is $400 bonus and a 1% raise because we didn't reach impossible goals = not fair. 8-5 M-F is not ideal for healthcare. Bring back more Friday at noon hours.
