Pros

They gave us a $40 Amazon gift card at Christmas Pay is standard They want you to work 42 1/2 hours a week (8 1/2 a day including lunch) - this is less than most IT jobs

Cons

Every Thursday staff meeting contains negative feedback and comments on what employees are doing wrong. I am not exaggerating. They emphasize ticket quotas and require that you hit at least 100 tickets a month and then if you are hitting those quotas will change tact and say you need to improve ticket quality. You will only have 10 days total time off including sick days, personal time and vacation for the first three years. They want you to literally mark down the exact minute you sign in and sign out each day. You will be micromanaged, you will need to follow strict rules - over 30 rules or be "immediately terminated" This company is completely demoralizing and does nothing to make you feel good about working as a part of the team. There have to be better options out there and I highly recommend you look for them

Pros

Pros - The company recently acquired a few big contracts with the government. Part of the contracts included infrastructure services which is an improvement from previous years where the focus was driven by service desk. Regarding diversity and employee recognition, the company has made major improvements. At recent gatherings, corporate did recognize and awarded employees who work for contracts at remote sites, hopefully, this continues to be the case in the future. The owner of this company has a sense of compassion and its open to input and feedback from employees.

Cons

Cons - The company has had to cut back on some benefits relating to 401k matching, which it previously offered, I suspect that growth had something to do with this. Health Benefits cost for a family plan are very high, you can find yourself paying almost $400 per paycheck for a PPO plan. Don’t think that having a degree in the IT industry is mandatory, but this could go a long way if made mandatory.
