Pros

I literally have not had one negative experience while with Nurturing Wisdom the last 3 years, which like never happens with any job ever! Everybody from the president, Pari, to the tutoring directors and coaches were supportive, knowledgeable, and flexible. All of the families and students that I worked with were very nice to work with. It is a rewarding, well-paying part-time job for anybody who likes helping kids!!

Cons

Some students/parents can be a little difficult to schedule/work with, but that is the life of a tutor, and NW is extremely helpful and supportive in managing those situations.

Thank you for your review! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed tutoring and felt supported. Your feedback about orientations is something we've heard from other tutors, and we now talk about it early and often so that expectations are clear. Regarding the matching process, as you know, it's a bit of an art and a science, with lots of moving parts. It's really important to us to make a strong match so that tutoring is as productive as possible. Tutoring directors consider subject matter, personality, availability, and the overall "feel" of a match. Every once in a while, it takes time to get a new tutor up and running with that right fit, but more often than not, we're able to match right away. Thanks again for your review, and best of luck in your current endeavors!
