      Pros

      Superb benefits, great core values and culture, great people to work with, better than average compensation and company cares about community.

      Cons

      Post-acquisition, some of the great people left the company, but a core group still exists. Some areas need to improve upon work-life balance, but overall it's good. Ended remote work-from-home due to parent policy. Movement of some functions to overseas support model caused a lot of concern for staff.

      Pros

      Strong benefits (retirement, pay, PTO, work-life, etc.). Emphasis on ethics and diversity (particularly from parent company TIAA), which creates a good culture with good people

      Cons

      A lot of change since the TIAA acquisition, which has meant a lot of layoffs. Limited opportunities for internal advancement

      Pros

      Very good benefits, great PTO structure, paternity/maternity leave, volunteer hours, bereavement etc.

      Cons

      Very middle management heavy with very little room for advancement - they hire a lot of top dogs from outside and don't do a ton or promotion from within. The new dynamic with TIAA is killing most of the good that was legacy Nuveen, the bureaucracy is stifling progress
