Pros

No pro's. See below for a detailed explanation. In short this is not a company that you want to work for. Most stressful job I've ever had in my entire career

Cons

Everything! Employees, culture, boiler room type sales environment, selling products that simply do not work. Brand reputation is horrible and anyone who decides to go with the services is always let down. Company lies about features and functionalities and as a result, the sales reps look terrible. Commission package is a joke, underwriting is so strict that if you happen to manipulate someone into buying the product/service, the mass majority of the time the deal is rejected by the underwriting team

Poorly run company

Pros

Coworkers were nice, even though they are all frustrated with the inability to actually accomplish anything with the lack of resources they are given.

Cons

Worst in house communication of any company I've ever had to work for. Upper Management does not have any clue what the rest of the company is doing.

They Just Don't Get It

Pros

Working remote, no micro management

Cons

As a recruiter you'll get no direction, no leadership, no help from management whatsoever. You'll be expected to find, negotiate, and close your own accounts. And you'll earn about half of what other companies pay. The benefits package is VERY expensive. Most recruiters don't last more than a year. And if by some chance you still do well in this role, there will be zero recognition. No president's club, no "good job", not even a call or email on your birthday. No matter how much business you bring in (I set company records), the CEO will never care to know your name. They'll tell you that you'll earn a 10% override, but they'll tell you that it's paid as "net" after they deduct "costs". They'll never tell you exactly how these are calculated, but I calculated my own book and it came out to just under 2%. If you make too much, they'll find a reason to let you go and keep your residuals. As relationship manager you'll be tasked with the impossible. See, recruiters bring in partners, but the underwriting process is do tedious, and the partner support is do poor, they'll stop sending business. Your job will be to hound them daily to send you deals, KNOWING they're going to have major issues when they do so. Partner Services is a voicemail box that no one ever respond to. It's a miserable, thankless job. Management is penny wise, pound foolish. They'll step over dollars to make dimes. In 20 years of executive management, I've never seen any large company quite as poorly run.VERY poor agent and customer service. Attitude of "blame the customer" when things go awry.
