      Great Benefits and Management Does Care

      Pros

      I was recently hospitalized and what could have been a catastrophic financial event was almost fully mitigated by Pivotal's great healthcare plan. One doesn't always think of healthcare benefits as a reason to come to or stay with a company but speaking from my recent experience, they are a big factor that should be considered. I have a boss that was extremely compassionate during and after my hospital stay which really helped with my morale. I also heard from many members of senior management upon my return to work to wish me a speedy recovery.

      Cons

      No job is perfect but I have no material complaints.

      Decent call center to work for

      Pros

      The benefits are very good. I had a plan with Aetna that was very affordable. At my new job, I had to opt out of their benefits as it cost way too much. The pay is also good for a call center. They will promote certain people, but many get strung along for a few months waiting for confirmation. This could be a pro if they like you.

      Cons

      Typical call center issues. You will be explaining to the scheduler how many minutes you were in the bathroom and trying to figure out times down to the minute. You're not allowed to give certain information over the phone, which most people don't like. Customers often get screwed into having to buy replacement equipment due to silly reasons, so it doesn't feel like an honest job. But what can you expect, most people aren't calling to tell you that you're making them happy.
