Pros

Really hard to think of any positives. Coffee was provided? Some co-workers were good people and also felt the wrath of Pivotal

Cons

Poor commission structure on the Global One side. Company wanted to build the brand but did not have the right support structures in place to do so. Management wanted to run after Large Enterprise accounts when the company is more geared towards handling smaller transactions & cannot support Large companies. Getting deals through underwriting was often harder than selling the services. If by chance you did have the opportunity to sell the deal was very often rejected from the underwriting team. Financially the organization was weak at the time- not sure if this has changed over the last 3 years or not. Oh- and the product(s) often failed or had severe glitches that would hinder merchant performance

It is unfortunate to hear your experience was not a great one, although we appreciate your time with us. Your particular sales channel did see aggressive growth and product enhancements over the course of your departure. And although we understand you were disappointed if certain deals did not go through, our risk and underwriting teams are doing a great job at protecting the company, its employees and reputation. Pivotal is and has been Canada's leading independent payment processor for many years, with a strong history of growth since 2003. Financially strong and backed by Canadian powerhouse investors Novacap and Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, we look forward to continued expansion. We’re constantly working hard to create an environment where people feel empowered to succeed. We listen to all constructive feedback from current and former employees and appreciate you taking the time to write.

Pros

Pivotal Payments has been a pioneer in the payments industry for more than 13 years now and we've never looked back. It's a fast-paced, innovative, and fun place to work. People here genuinely care about each other and our customers.

Cons

Growing quickly has its challenges, and Pivotal is not immune. That being said, departments work together to quickly resolve issues. It is a very collaborative environment and everyone is looking out for each other, our company and our customers.
