Pros

Great opportunities for women. Stores are usually clean and organized. Scheduling is fair and regular.

Cons

The quality of manager varies so you can have a great manager like I did or a horrible manager. Training is antiquated run only on store computers. Delivery trucks are poorly maintained and rarely repaired. Drivers are required to work without lunch breaks even if it is over 8 hours which is directly in conflict with their published policies.Compensation is way below average so employee turnover is tremendous..

Learning automotive systems and parts, great employee discount, get to help people solve their problems in a positive way.

Cons

Soul-sucking paperwork, and heaven help you if you make a small mistake or fill out the wrong form. "Office Space TPS Reports", anyone? Oh, and don't plan on having two days off together ever if you're full time and not the one making the schedule. No advancement, low pay, no benefits under 30 hours, and you will never get hired for full-time because of that.

Some of the customers were very good people.

Cons

Very low pay, they always promise a raise but never do it. threatening employees constantly to cut their hours. Auto's not kept up to date on maintenance. Inner-store politics of playing employees against each other with manager and DM's knowledge. manager and DM showing favoritism between employees.
