Pros

Pay is decent. Employee discount is very good.

Cons

You will work 14 hour days and then be told you must work the weekend as well. Insultingly enough HR likes to tell people they will likely get out after about 10 or 11 hours most days, causing new hires to quit when they find out this isn't always (or ever) true.

Pros

Hours were mostly flexible, employee discounts were nice.

Cons

Dangerously understaffed, on multiple occasions I had to take shifts at stores up to 45 minutes from the store I worked at. Employees are overworked and underpaid, as a store counter salesman I was doing the job of a delivery driver for hours during my shifts every week with absolutely no training or pay adjustments. Every employee there either left during my time or was planning on leaving the job.

Pros

The job itself is awesome. I love getting to interact with my clients and help them determine what parts they need to solve their issues. I also enjoy expanding my knowledge within the realm of auto parts and troubleshooting auto issues.

Cons

For the amount of knowledge we’re expected to possess and the level of service we’re expected to provide we are severely underpaid. The turn over is annoyingly high because of this. There is hardly any support from upper management. Particularly during the Covid-19 crisis, the company’s response was extremely underwhelming and disappointing considering that we the “essential” employees kept them afloat during such uncertain times.
