      Pros

      - Decent pay, but it comes with 2x - 3x workload comparing to other companies

      Cons

      - Chinese management style, 996 working hours expected, could call you at midnight/on Sundays, no compensation for OT except dinner - A follower in the industry, unclear vision, wants to be 'the best no2 exchange', product ideas are mostly from Binance's existing features, no innovation - Management has no idea what they are doing, constant restructuring to become 'international', people switch teams every 2-3 months, but most employees are still from China - Chinese employees are preferred, want employees to communicate in English but will revert to Chinese once Chinese employees do not know how to express in English - Most documentations are in Chinese or poor English - Very messy internal system and bureaucracy, may need to approach multiple stakeholders from different teams to get a single issue solved - No guidance from seniors, expected to complete everything on your own without errors - A 'blaming' culture, when there is something wrong management will find someone to blame instead of fixing the underlying system - Every department is under-resourced but expected to provide quality work under tight deadlines, failing to do so will be labelled as 'underperforming'

      Don't get attracted by higher salary and benefits. You will regret it.

      Pros

      Pays above market rate. This is the only benefit it has.

      Cons

      (1) Mandatory to be Chinese:- you don’t speak / write in Chinese, you are gone. (2) Hire then fire. If you are working for stable company. Stay away from it. (3) No power to HR. (4) All managers are china based. No knowledge of management. They can spoil your career. (5) No integrity, No value of your career. Minimum 12 hours work every day.

      1. Good compensation 2. Great perks 3. Good brand

      Cons

      1. Hire and 'quiet' fire culture. A butcher knife hangs over your neck every single second. You'll never know when you are the next to go. 2. Very extreme case of top-down management. Your opinion does not matter. It's either you do what you are told or be fired. 3. When HR/HRBP tells you everything is 'well', it's usually quite the opposite. They act as if we care, but they don't and they can't. 4. Get pelted with vulgarities by the 'pseudo' CEO. Some people think this can't happen. I know. Don't be shocked. It's a thing here. 5. The company hires non-Chinese speaking talents but meetings and documents are in Chinese. If you don't know Chinese, it's your problem. 6. .... and many more Whatever cons you can think of, it's probably happening here. You can read more reviews by searching for OKCOIN on Glassdoor.
