Lack of clear vision and long-term strategy for operations in Hungary. Very stressful environment – management expects to be pleased even if you don’t work directly with them. Leadership appears hesitant, risk-averse, and at times fearful of making decisions. Limited tolerance for diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Inflexible working culture with long hours and no overtime compensation; poor work-life balance. Overly formal atmosphere where employees are expected to greet managers daily, or risk complaints. Restrictive language policy – although English is declared the official company language, Hungarian and Chinese are often spoken, while other languages are discouraged. Micromanagement culture – even team leaders are assigned daily ticket targets and quality checks. Insufficient workload; within just two months of operations, cost-cutting began, and promised benefits (sports, team-building) were removed. Uncertainty regarding the future of the Hungary office, as the operating license has been rejected and is under appeal.
