Pros

At times work camaraderie was great dependent on who your general manager was. Otis contributed nicely to their 401k program Travel discounts

Cons

Medical & Dental are overpriced. No training. If you're not part of the "in" crowd you will get no where. Be your own advocate because no one will help you but you. People will throw you under the bus to make themselves look good. Push for money upfront because you will never get a big bump during review time. Raises can be anywhere from 1 - 4% dependent upon your branch contribution or if your manager likes you or not. If you're a butt kisser this place will be great for you.

Run and don't look back

Pros

Good benefits, decent pay out of college.

Cons

Wow where to begin... there was basically no training. The service that was provided to customers was awful if not negligent. Sales people were expected to handle everything with no support. We would ask our operations team when a mechanic would be sent to fix/upgrade an item and be told a day and time only for them not to show up. This happened to one customer 5 times in a row... What can you say to that?

Org changes are concerning

Pros

Industry leader in products and cultural values. Good place to start a career and gain technical experiences. Great place for those seeking to be a part of diverse teams.

Cons

Losing top talent, both voluntarily and involuntarily due to organizational restructuring. Company used to have excellent leadership with strong industry knowledge, however, has quickly turned into a top-heavy org with more “leaders” supervising and tasking the “doers” (likely due to lack of industry knowledge and unattainable targets)… a system that could fail if not fixed soon.
