      One of the best companies for women

      Pros

      Decent benefits, good company that supports diversity, one of the few companies left with clean work culture.

      Cons

      1. Women led fortune 500 company. Very bad company for men, very talented men stay at the same level or get forced to leave eventually. The balance that used to exist does not exist anymore. 2. low caliber offshore employees get promoted over highly qualified US employees. Yardstick for promotion does not get disclosed. 3. Unacceptably top-heavy! There is not one operating level, full-time person left in the company. Operational activities get outsourced. 4. Some of the old employees from UTC, notoriously known as "ole boys politicians club", still exist in the company. So certain level of contamination still exists on the business side.

      Good Product, Bad Leadership and Culture

      Good Benefits, company vehicle, salary, great elevator product.

      Cons

      Culture is terrible and toxic. Constant movement among management. No dedication to customers or relationship building. Money drives bad decision making and poor customer service. Middle management sole purpose is to micromanage spreadsheets and is overpopulated with people disconnected from customers and reality. Lowest level employees are treated as numbers and scapegoats. Bad business ethics - Management openly under-resources contracts and hopes customers don't notice. Ignores code requirements regarding maintenance. If you know the right answer, forget it, they will tell you to do something different. Working here will be extremely frustrating. Cost cutting is not growth.

      Toxic abusive office with extremely high turnover

      Pros

      Previous Years working with knowledgeable experienced supervisors and sales professionals who all ended up running for the hills.

      Cons

      Long hours, no appreciation for hard work, blatant abuse and contempt coming from extremely inexperienced office staff directed at field mechanics. Gave two weeks notice was told I was eligible for rehire but office ran an extremely vicious, deceptive , condescending and blatantly illegal slander campaign against me.
