Pros

Iconic brand name Good product (service is not good) Financially stable company Otis university for top performers

Cons

Complete lack of empowerment, entrepreneurship or common sense. Spreadsheet and headcount driven company in which local management has nothing to say. Way too much overhead at supra national levels continuously asking for reportings and forecasts without generating added value themselves. Bad decisions are being executed in full compliancy mode. HR is on a completely different planet and fully mis-alligned with business. Inbreed company in which there is no room for fresh blood or alternative thinking. Decision takers started there carreer at a junior role and grew into senior management role with no clue how the rest of the worl looks like.

Pros

Large orangization with offices in just about every city, Competitive pay

Cons

Cost cutting measures with same amount of resources, grow your business with the same amount of resources, no work life balance as it is a struggle, training and technology well behind the curve as an organization, don’t always deliver on commitments

Pros

Well organized and high caliber employees. The company has a high degree of focus on employee engagement, well managed succession planning, and a strong ethical business culture.

Cons

Being a large company with a long history as a market leader, the company can be slow moving to adapt new technologies and generally risk averse. At times the focus on profitability and growth can be a detriment to the long term positioning of the company.
