Pros

Overheard management talk bad about employees on multiple occasions. Very poor, outdated offices. Low pay. No diversity or people of color in the corporate offices. Free lunches. You can see this is a cheap company, just look at their mission statement. Run far away.

Cons

Shady coworkers, low pay, short breaks, no diversity

Pros

You get a discount and extra discount days

Cons

So many to list. Nepatissism from store to cooperate level. Poor training in every position. Good workers get worked so hard they break down and bad workers get slack because they are quite un quote still learning even though they have been there for months....pressure from cooperate and threatened with getting written up or terminated if you cant get sign ups for the new Insider program. Hours are few and far between dont hope for full time when you get hired because that early happens.

Pros

Recruiting for sales and stock associates is pretty simple and does not require any lengthy recruiting processes

Cons

Did not feel a lot of respect from upper management for the Centralized Recruiting department. Management keeps these roles contracted for up to 8 months before they offer a full time position. Contracted employees do not have PTO or any benefits, which saves OSJL a lot of money. Extremely rigid in the working hours. Only allows a 30 minute break for lunch. No flex time, had to be there 8:30am-5:00pm. Very micromanaged working environment. Upper management has worked there for many years and are very stuck in their ways and processes. I worked in an office building where the plumbing erupted 3 times in a very short time period. Instead of allowing to leave or compensating for their plumbing issues, management thought it was a good idea to move all the Centralized Recruiting Coordinators to the same room and have us sit at tables like we were in elementary school
