Benefits- Company sponsored health care Good Pay Worked with great people at the store level. Company is growing and profitable.

Cons

Privately owned- you hear it at every meeting. " We don't have to answer to stockholders!" No desire to retain associates, very high turnover No company match on 401k not enough vacation time. 6 days a week from November til inventory in January. Manager has no discretion on anything except merchandising and that is limited. Dm's and Rm's make most of the decisions for merchandising. Always looking to catch someone doing something wrong. No focus on the positive.

do not match any 401k no holidays or holiday comp days 6 days a week thanksgiving till feb 1, and often when store is busy. owner and friends run company, most with no prior retain experience

Very old fashioned workplace that won't let you manage your own time Departments here are all about passing the blame complete with backstabbing and favoritism No internet - can't even google simple excel questions, let alone a 3 min sanity break Isolation in cubicle - barely left my cubicle, barely talked to anyone in person Difficult to manage a long commute - you must time arrival within a 7 minute period or sit around unpaid before you can clock in 1 year of work before you can get 1 week of vacation It gets creepy when you find out how many cameras are in the workplace Low pay, low rate of raises
