The managers don't care about you, nor does HR. Favoritism happens a lot. They claim to promote from within but that really just means if you apply for a position, they'll make you work in that position with out paying you and then tell you that you aren't right for the job even if you are, only to continue making you do that position's tasks. Their points system is designed to get you fired. Their new thing is to threaten everybody with being written up instead of working with associates. Their computers can be poor which makes punching in and out a hassle because 30 seconds early or late means you get points or meal violations, no exceptions unless they like you. The amount of drama is a big negative as well as just flat out feeling like you don't matter. Management refuses to train associates that want to grow.

I am always a reliable employee... I go to school full time and half another job and still have only ever called out ONCE in three years due to being extremely sick. In my opinion they take advantage of my work ethic to the max. I am ALWAYS the one stuck doing the projects everyone else left behind or "didn't have time for" people can make excuses all they want but when they expect things from you once they realize you are a hard worker then its all downhill from there. They know I have school in the morning and still have me stay late (after the store closes) to finish projects that someone else should have done. I am suuuupppeeerrr sick of it. Maybe my situation is a special case and I really don't think it has anything to do with corporate but boy have I had bad luck with managers.
