Pros
I have worked for both public and private retail companies for over 30 years. I have never worked for a company where the CEO truly cares about the people who work for him. For the longest period of time we had free health care. There were 2 times when Marc gave the associates raises to cover the cost of the increase of health care. As a matter of fact we all have the same health care insurance as the owners (including Marc). We all have premium health care coverage for our families. If that doesn't show how much he cares about the associates, that we all have the same coverage, just like his family. We have free lunch on Fridays for all DC/Office associates which has to cost thousands of dollars. We have available so many perks including discounts on new/used automobiles which the company owns 2 dealerships. The list is endless. I am also very proud and heart warming to know that I am with a company that donates to so many charities. Marc knows the meaning of giving back to the communities and promotes to the associates to volunteer their time as well. In the day of uncertainty in the retail world where you have companies closing stores everywhere, were growing. It's a great feeling knowing that we don't have to worry about our company closing stores and going out of business. I enjoy my job and have fun doing it. It feels a lot nicer knowing, I am doing it for some really special people.
Cons
I have no complaints or issues.
