Disorganized and Stressful

Pros

-flexible hours for sales reps - great accounts staff who are more than willing to explain the ins and outs and help sales reps with questions and orders

Cons

- the management is seriously lacking at a local level. This is a hard product to sell and there isn't enough training/guidance from managers - what a rep is promised in an interview is not delivered after they sign the employee paperwork

Pros

1. The owners genuinely care. 2. The team that makes up Offix is second to none. I have not had a single experience in over a year that I could not pick up the phone and someone wasn't willing to bend over backwards to help. 3. In the office electronics sales world, you will not find a better commission structure. 4. Having a large dedicated territory in which you can establish a wide-spread network of referrals leads. 5. The work environment is also second to none. If you say you need something to do your job more effectively, it will happen.(Nothing is overnight, things need planning which is understandable.) 6. Fuel Mileage Reimbursement is fairly high. 7. Cell phone allowance. 8. Take home work tablet/laptop. 9. Family work atmosphere. 10. Bonuses throughout the year for different competitions. 11. Free company trip/vacation(if you do your job.) 12. Best company holiday parties ever. 13. If you care and consistently put your best foot forward showing your efforts, the owners themselves will take time from their extremely busy schedule to take you under their wing and guide you even further beyond that of your own managers. This giving you extra insight into being the best and most successful sales person you can be.

Cons

1. Benefits package is on par with private companies but the rate is a little high. 2. Performance structure and lower management has its issues. No one is perfect. However, this is a high caliber and rapidly growing organization. These things are expected to happen, they are called growing pains. The owners are aware of these issues and are already working at adjusting to make things better for the sales team and the rest of the company. With hard work and dedication, six figure income in a position of this type is entirely obtainable after the 3 year mark. Even in the second year I could have easily seen around 70-90k. This is not the job for someone who does not wish to put in the time and effort. The hours are flexible, but you should expect to be successful, you will be investing 50-60hrs a week if not more on certain weeks. Not all will be at the office some are hours spent from the pc sitting on your couch at night in front of the tv with your family. Again, if you are willing to put in effort, Offix will drive and grow you to succeed.
