Pros

I had my pick of places to work but when I had reached the ceiling at my previous workplace, I turned to Offix. They have large-company vision and execution with the personal touch of a small company. They take the time to properly cultivate their relationships rather than treat their customers like numbers. I'm proud to call myself a part of the team and to be an instrumental part of their growth.

Cons

There is always room for improvement. The new CRM and order processing system is coming in the next 30 days which should take about 95% of my pain away in the long-term. We need more territory coverage as well.

Pros

They had a standardize proposal software template used company wide. The advantage is that the entire salesforce proposals looked the same or uniform and you did not have to spend a lot of time or reinvent the wheel creating one.

Cons

This company has two locations HQ in Gainesville and branch office in Richmond, VA. The two locations are totally different in appearance and setup. The HQ has everything in regards to full demo line on both products that they carry and etc. The branch location is like a whole in the wall establishment or set up with a few products here and there. Secondly, they are not like your traditional copier company where you have demo equipment readily available to provide presentations for prospects at their place of business or on site. They do not order equipment until prospect submits all paperwork. So you are pretty much selling off a brochure or flyer. As mention previously the Richmond, VA office is better suited to be a Service Repair Facility instead of a showroom. They would recommend that you drive a prospect to Northern Virginia to show or demo equipment on site. Really what prospect would want to drive almost two hours away to see a demo and the competition has everything they want and need right down the street or here local. In the copier business 9 times out of 10 when a prospect has demo equipment in their office for a few days they will eventually keep and buy it. They apparently do not understand that approach or philosophy. Could you imagine going to a car dealership and not being able to test drive a car prior to purchasing it and the Salesperson only show you a brochure. Well that is what you get at Offix. Lastly, they do not issue their Sales staff with any technology i.e. laptop, cell phone or etc. like most competitors do. You have to use your personal laptop, cell phone for work related activity. Also, please keep in mind that they want to keep in touch with you throughout the day on your personal laptop and cell phone as well.

Thank you for your feedback! Since your post, we have been working extra hard to improve our processes and grow the company. We now have 3 locations in Gainesville, Richmond and Norfolk, Virginia and each branch looks very similar in design and setup. Each location has a Show/Demo Room full of equipment for customer presentations. We have also streamlined our ordering system and required paperwork to make the order process much easier on the sales and administration staff. Each Account manager has a computer, is offered a cell phone allowance and has ample marketing material and training to help succeed in this role. We strive hard to ensure the happiness of our employees. We thank you again for your feedback!
