Pros
I have been working full time in the Admin department at Offix for almost 2 years and I couldn’t be happier. The vast amount of knowledge from the Management Team never fails to amaze me, and I am constantly learning something new; not just regarding my own department, but the Sales and Service departments as well. When I started, I never imagined I would have the knowledge that I do in such little time; it still amazes me when I think about it. Everyone in the company, at all 3 of our branches, is so friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the situation – I don’t think I’ve met anyone here that I haven’t gotten along with. I found my passion since coming to Offix, and it is all thanks to the people who taught me what I know about the industry, company, and my department. Since we are a small company, we focus on maintaining customer and employee relationships to keep the business flourishing, as both are our greatest assets. Offix offers benefits for full time employees and 3 weeks paid vacation in your first year, as well as paid Holidays, which was extremely exciting for me because I came from an industry that did not offer any benefits whatsoever. The opportunities for Career Advancement are endless, as long as you are willing to put in the work to be successful. There are so many resources available within the company for ANYONE to grow, but don’t be afraid to go out and get it. I can honestly say that I look forward to coming to work every day, which is new for me. My favorite part about my job at Offix is that I have such a wide variety of administrative tasks that I do on a daily/weekly basis and I never have an opportunity to be bored – each and every day is something new.
Cons
As a small company, communication is a top priority, and I hope that it remains that way. We have many processes in place that have been reviewed and explained, but it seems that we still have people who have a problem following the processes and procedures, which ends up causing issues in the long run.
