Pros

fair compensation, well- known hospital system, easy to transfer positions within the company

Cons

different campuses and each operates differently (i.e.,work culture, staffing) even though the company stresses "systemness" meaning all hospital systems should operate the same. They tout their "fortune 500 best company to work for" status but I couldnt figure out what made it one. The "concierge service"that they are so proud of no one ive worked with EVER used. depending on what campus you work on you may be VERY surprised how it operates so choose wisely and ask about the structure of the floor or department you will work in!!

Cons

disrespectful family members, disrespectful doctors, lots of paperwork, nothing every happens in a timely manner, terrible benefits, not enough breaks

Pros

Work ethic is good. Positive work atmosphere. Salaries are very competitive. Patient satisfaction is very important.

Cons

Very financially oriented. As one enters the upper end of their salary bracket, there seems to be pressure to leave. New hires tend to be young and inexperienced. Management presents a very friendly and supportive "front", but decisions are solely based on the almighty dollar.
