Pros

Company has above average benifits and pay. Company wants to treat employees like they matter but is a huge a company and employees can be lost in the attempts. Upper level leadership is strong but lower level leadership doesn't really have real management skills, just OTJ experience and falls into leadership roll by longevity.

Cons

Many long tenured employees have no idea what it's like to work for another company and bring morale down with minor complaints that are blown out of proportion. Lower level management have poor skills and rely on harder working employees to do the right thing and take care of problems rather than actually confronting poor performers. Confrontation is non-existent with lower level management, easier for them to stuck head in the sand and ignore issues for as long as possible. The company loves meeting, even for non-management you can waste a few hours a week in meetings that have no real results.

Thank you for your feedback. Actually, OhioHealth does give associates an annual merit increase. If you have surpassed the maximum of your pay range, the merit is paid in a lump sum. If you do not feel you received a merit increase, I would encourage you to discuss this with your manager.
