They pay well and schedule isn't bad!

Cons

Benefits suck! Very political organization, they don't care about their worker's unless you are high up on the food chain. Manager's are never held accountable most need supervisor training and should be able to fill in when staffing is low. They run short all the time with no care about how that effects employee's.

-Pay scale is the definitely one of the highest in this field for Central Ohio -Supervisors are experienced, and treat Officers fairly -Help is provided when possible; explanations are provided when necessary -Most Officers have a Team mentality; they aren't typically throwing people under the bus -OhioHealth will hold your OPOTA commission for you; you do not need to work for an outside police agency if you don't want to, to keep your commission

Cons

-Benefits package could be a lot better -With almost 300 Officers in the department, promotions are highly competitive -The company could match your 401K/403B, but doesn't
