Pros

Appear to be “attempting” to improve salaries

Cons

They increased new graduate RN’s a significant amount before their tenured staff - Took a significant length of time before they started to increase their current and long standing employees but it would only be 0.15 cents to, maybe, one dollar per hour

Pros

Job security is a plus when working for Ohio health.

Cons

Retirement plan sucks. They say they will match 4% but it’s 2 from them and 2 from you. Health Insurance suck, each check per 2 weeks , for one person is $450. This adds up to $900 per month. Not sure who is gambling with out 403b but there is a huge loss every time.

Pros

Imminent pay is nice incentive.

Cons

The job itself isn’t terrible, but management is horrid. They are enforcing us to push patient in a bed who weigh less than a certain weight when it was always a 2 person job, putting our safety at risk. Now, I’ve been told that they are requiring people to make up the hours they take off (even if they find someone to cover their shift) - which is NOT stated in HR policy. They should be getting sued forcing people to work these hours or risk getting a point. I think it’s absolutely disgusting - simply because they are refusing to hire more people and even when they do, the environment is not conducive and very disgusting that the turn over rate is shooting up!! They should be lucky people are not striking!
