Pros

Work/life balance. Remote work during winter months. Trust and loyalty are valued.

Cons

At first, it seems like a very exciting place to work. The culture shifts over time depending on how well the business is doing . High turnover in core functions with limited/to no transition to existing/new employees. Employee development is lacking to develop employees for growth. Best suited for candidates that thrive in family run companies and not seeking career growth.

The CEO drives a culture of integrity and inclusion. Investments are made to provide work/life balance, the W in WE CARE. Teammates are focused on the principle that winning at Oil-Dri is a team game. Therefore the environment is collaborative and supportive.

Cons

Some parts of the environment are still manual. Could benefit from further automation.
