      Hard work, but a good place to work.

      Pros

      Good pay, people are rough around the edges but generally friendly, equipment is top of the line, yearly raises are very substantial, flexible hours for part-time workers

      Cons

      Exposed to all weather - basically the same as working outside, very physically demanding, no formalized support - you have to make your own allies on the dock or figure out how to work entirely alone

      Been there a few weeks now so far it's been phenomenal to say the least.

      Pros

      The training they give you is top of the line they leave no stone unturned. They really care about doing the job the right way and keeping the customer happy. In return they reward you accordingly.

      Cons

      If you can put up with the cold weather being that it's an open dock Then you will be fine. My advice bundle up. Chicago winters are no joke!
