      Pros

      Flexible schedule and room to grow if you are lucky. Pretty good company within the industry. If you like clothes and the industry you can defenitely learn a lot . There is a lot of information for someone to learn if you are self motivated to do so. If you are in a store with a set structure that plays by the rules then you have the potential to go far.

      Cons

      Downsides are related to the individual personalities and not the company. The company is pretty good. like any place it can be bogged down with politics and favoritism. Of course you also deal with a lot of different people and personalities>

      Pros

      Great benefits and you are never bored with your job because it will consistently change.

      Cons

      Lack of planning by corporate which leaves stores struggling to meet unrealistic guidelines. Lack of respect for personal life. The job will own you and your time and you will receive little thanks or compensation. Inconsistent standards by corporate and higher level leaders, store resources that are not updated or specific, training materials that are incomplete or not updated to consistently changing standards. Promotions, sales events or contest that are overly complicated so become hard to understand.

      Pros

      The customers are almost always friendly. Same goes for my co-workers. Managers are very flexible when you need time off. Feels good when you help someone find a nice outfit they like.

      Cons

      OLD NAVY CARDS!!! (ONCs). You get reprimanded if you don't get x number of customers to apply for one each week. Detracts from other, more important tasks. Also, the Product Placement book is sometimes ambiguous (I work on shipment).
