      -Brilliant, inspiring people who love to have fun and will become your best friends - Super fast trajectory and you learn at lightning speed across all dimensions - Perks (AMEX Platinum card, fully paid international cellphone plan, can expense anything while traveling, on and on) -

      - Clients are often crappy or have crappy cultures - Work life balance varies a lot by project - can be bad

      Pros

      - Unparalleled opportunities for responsibility early in career. Since projects tend to be tightly staffed relative to scope, every project team member is crucial. You will be thrown into challenging situations from which you'll come out as a better consultant - Smart, fun, entrepreneurial people. Thinking back on projects where things didn't go as planned or had challenging work-life balance, it was often the people that played the biggest role in keeping me going - Strong brand name in FS, particularly in Risk - Many options and opportunities for flexible work, e.g. secondments, leaves of absence, rotations to other offices and roles

      Cons

      - You won't find all projects interesting - Traveling constantly eventually became too taxing on my health, and made me feel a bit rootless - Hours can be very long, depending on the project; they're also not always predictable
