Pros

-For financial services / aviation / analytics work, no better place. Easily compete with MBB firms in these industries, and the blend of strategic and analytical work is promising -Incredibly intelligent yet down to earth colleagues -Flat meritocratic culture -Clear career path with no pressure / requirement to get an MBA, though sponsorship is available if desired -Diversity initiatives, ERGs, opportunity for non profit fellowship help create a more sustainable environment Overall, wouldn't be surprised to see OW get the recognition it deserves from the general industry.

Cons

-Long hours, maybe a bit more than what is norm for MBB (regularly working 9AM-11PM) -For non-FS / aviation / analytics work, definitely disadvantaged relative to MBB -Brand at the top (C-suite) is very strong, but brand at the bottom (entry level) is weaker relative to MBB. Expect people to not recognize the name.

Pros

This company has a fun, open culture that encourages creative thinking and problem solving. Team work is central to work.

Cons

There are often long hours and weekend work put in, as is expected with the industry. Travel to client sites is of course tiring too.

Pros

-Exposure to many industries -Incredibly smart people (even if that intelligence is a bit narrow) -Flat culture -Good exit opportunities

Cons

- More risk / operational work than strategy work; highly regional concentration of work and dependent on the office you're in (e.g., if you're in New York expect to do a lot of financial services work) - Terrible working hours and no effective mechanism to escalate issues - Celebration of people who are high IQ / low EQ even when it's detrimental to culture and creates toxic work environments - Blind eye to blatant sexism and disrespectful management styles as long as the offender still does good client work
